We chose this material to honor the act of writing—a simple yet profound human activity. Just as this tree has stood tall in nature, we hope this pen stands by your side as you weave your words.
Collaboration with Karimoku
The wood processing is realized through a collaboration with Karimoku Furniture, Japan's leading wooden furniture manufacturer.
By combining advanced machinery with the delicate touch of skilled craftsmen, we have brought out the natural beauty of the wood. We cherish the "Torafu" (tiger stripes)—a unique grain pattern that signifies the tree's vitality and strength.
Sculpted by Nature and Technology
The design embraces the "uneven beauty" of nature. The barrel features cutting marks that are digitally programmed to reproduce the texture of hand-carving.
Combined with the "Shaper Cut" on the aluminum cap—randomly engraved grooves resembling tree bark—the pen feels like a raw material that has been refined into a tool for thought.
