Is there an English version? Can I use it without knowing Japanese?
Yes, absolutely. While there is no full English-only edition (DAYs features bilingual text), all essential layout elements—such as months, days of the week, and 24-hour timelines—are printed in English, making it very easy to use.

Both THIN PAPER and MIO PAPER are specially engineered to absorb ink quickly while resisting bleed-through, feathering, and show-through. They are also well-received by fountain pen users for showcasing subtle ink shading. Gel pens, highlighters, and erasable pens work comfortably as well.
*Note: Bleed-through resistance and drying time may vary depending on specific ink formulations, nib sizes, and writing pressure.
What is the difference between "THIN PAPER" and "MIO PAPER"?
- THIN PAPER (Standard, DAYs, LITE, etc.): Feather-light and compact to keep your planner slim and portable. It features a brighter white tone that makes ink colors pop and offers a crisp, airy writing feel while resisting bleed-through.
- MIO PAPER (Biz series exclusively): A tad thicker and softer than THIN PAPER. It provides a smooth glide and superior ink absorption, making it a popular choice for fountain pen users and long writing sessions.
Can I put accessory covers on LITE or Biz models?
Yes. Here is how they fit:
- LITE: Slides directly into our accessory covers as-is.
- Biz & Standard Models: Remove the notebook from its included standard cover first, then insert it into the accessory cover.
Tip: You can also buy bare Refills and a Clear Cover to insert your own decorative paper and create a custom cover.
Can I purchase the pencil board (underlay) with the black elastic band separately?
No, it is not available for individual purchase. The black elastic band pencil board is included exclusively as part of the First Kit.
Are there blank memo (free) pages at the back of the planner?
Yes, depending on the model, a few blank memo pages are included at the back:
- Biz: 3 pages
- LITE: 11 pages
- DAYs: 5 pages
Since built-in memo space is limited, if you need more room for note-taking, we highly recommend adding the companion IDEA notebook to your order.
